Sample Service

If you are not quite sure which design is for you why not use our sample service.
This service allows you to see and handle the designs you’re interested in and the final cost to you will be only the postage charges, once you return the samples in an unused, saleable condition. We will refund the cost of the samples against any new online purchases you make or just refund you if you choose not to purchase any products.

HOW IT WORKS
From the product pages on the website, add to the shopping basket the ‘3pc sample set’ designs/finishes you like. Each set costs £15, with a maximum of 4 different 'sample sets' per order.
The postage charge for your order will be £9.90 (£4.95 to deliver to you and £4.95 for the return to us). The postage is a set charge and is not dependent on the number of sample sets you order.
When you have completed and paid for your order the samples will be speedily sent to your delivery address to help you make a decision. You have 30 days from the date of receiving the samples to return them to us to receive the refund.

RETURNING THE SAMPLES
Included in the parcel containing your samples will be a FREE-POST label and a form for you to fill in so we can process your refund. You can also use this form if you are ready to place an order or alternatively you can place your order online. The FREE-POST SERVICE makes it very easy to return the samples to Studio William for refunding.

Filling in the form for your refund or to place an order and receive your refund
Enter your name, address and order number onto the form enclosed in the sample package.
If at this point you wish to order one or more of the cutlery designs for each design you want you will need to write on the form the following:
1) Name of the cutlery design
2) Finish
3) Set configuration (place settings)
4) Any additional place setting pieces or serving pieces you want.
The available finishes, set configurations and additional place settings for each design can be found on the website.
When you place an order with the return of your samples, the same delivery costs apply as when placing an order on the website (purchases over £75 have free P&P). The cost of your order is calculated before your refund is deducted (see receiving your refund).

Place your order online and receive your refund
On the website add the cutlery design/finish you wish to order to the shopping basket, including any additional place setting pieces or serving pieces.
Fill in the information boxes in the checkout page, and remember to fill in your 'Sample Service Order Number' in the appropriate box so that we can refund your sample purchase. The number can be found on the delivery form enclosed In the Sample Service box delivered by us.

PLEASE NOTE: your new purchase will be dispatched as soon as Studio William receives your returned samples.

Packing and sending back the samples
You will need to wrap carefully ALL the samples (including the samples of the design or designs you like and want to order) and place them with the return/order form into the box you received them in.
Seal the box securely, attach the FREE-POST label and use the Post Office to send the box back to us.
Receiving your refund
On receipt of the returned 3 pc samples to Studio William, you will receive your refund as follows:
· If you have placed an order with the returned samples the full price of the returned samples will be deducted from the cost of your order excluding the sample service postage and packing cost of £9.90.
· If you have decided not to order any goods you will receive a full refund for the price of the returned samples excluding the sample service postage and packing cost of £9.90.

Please note that a full refund (excluding the sample service P&P £9.90) is provided if the cutlery is in an unused, saleable condition on return - so please wrap the samples well!
